2 vidalia onions (one sliced into rings and 1 chopped
3 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 small can tomato paste

Mayonnaise
1 cup shredded mozzarella or sliced

How to do it
Pop frozen meatballs in your air fryer at 350 for 10 minutes (you may have to do this in batches)
In a preheated skillet, add oil and chopped onions, saute until transparent. Roast garlic in separate skillet until brown, deglaze both skillets with wine.
When onions have become transparent, add in diced tomatoes, seasonings and tomato paste and combine. Add roasted garlic and tomato sauce next. Simmer on low until ready for sauce.
Slice french bread long ways and open up. Spread butter all over both sides and broil on high until toasty brown.
Remove french bread from oven and put mayo on one side, then cover with meatballs. Now cover with the mozzarella and pop back in broiler until melted (about 1 minute). Remove from oven and put a layer of sauce over the cheese, now add pickles and carmelized onions.
Place top on sandwich and mash down, cut into 5-6 pieces and enjoy!
